Inspection of residential, commercial and industrial buildings

Whether it is for the purchase, sale or maintenance of a property, inspection is very important and is a tool to assist in the investment decision making process. Our qualified and certified engineers and inspectors will proceed to a detailed inspection of all the components of your building while scrupulously following the rules and standards in the matter. Following the inspection, a detailed report will be provided to the client. The following components will be inspected :

  • Roofing

  • Exterior

  • Interior

  • Electricity and plumbing

  • Mechanical equipment

  • Structural elements

  • Heating and air conditioning system

  • Isulation and ventilation

Inspection of facades

All building components and, more specifically facades exposed to the weather require periodic and rigorous preventive maintenance. This maintenance would avoid the development of dangerous conditions that could cause accidents (material losses and especially loss of human life). This is the reason why law 122 of the Régie des Bâtiments du Québec was adopted on March 18, 2013. This law requires owners of buildings of 5 floors or more to submit to the Régie once every 5 years a detailed report on the condition of the facades of their building. This report must certify that the facades of the building do not present any risk to people. It must be signed by an engineer or architect. GIDexperts inc, with the help of its qualified building engineers and experienced rope access technicians will provide you with a detailed facade inspection report that will be transmitted to the RBQ in case of compliance. In case of non-compliance, the RBQ and the owner must be informed. The owner will then have to take the necessary actions to make the corrections in a short period of time.

Projects management

All projects, and particularly large-scale projects, require good management to better achieve project objectives, especially in terms of deadlines and costs. Project management is the set of procedures that ensure a smooth progress of projects throughout their life cycle. It includes several fields such as the development of analysis files, cost control and monitoring, supply management, risk management, change process management, etc. GIDexperts Inc. has PMP certified project managers who will implement the best management practices to ensure the total success of all your projects in compliance with current standards.
