Methodology
- Detailed visual and/or tactile inspection conducted on the architectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical components of each building.
- Identification of deficiencies in accordance with the recommendations listed in the guide titled "ASTM E2018-01" and the practice standards of the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI).
- Development of an intervention plan for all inspected buildings using Uniformat 2 level 4, including a Class D cost estimate for the interventions.
Deliverables
- Inventory of components for each building,
- Health assessment of each building,
- List of deficiencies and determination of costs associated with necessary interventions until 2035 in the form of an Excel spreadsheet that can be adapted to any software with ease of data updates.
- Photo register of observed deficiencies. The photos are categorized by building with a precise nomenclature approved by the city.
- Intervention tracking register
- Training of staff on the use of the established spreadsheet.
